Using JOAP

JOAP helps users organize job applications, maintain reusable work-history material, and create tailored resume content. You may use JOAP only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Accounts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• You may not use another person's account without permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the profile, resume, application, job, and other content you provide to JOAP. You grant JOAP permission to host, store, process, format, and display your content as needed to provide and improve the service.

AI-assisted features

JOAP may use AI-assisted features to generate or tailor resume content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any generated content.

No job or career guarantee

JOAP does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, immigration outcomes, or any other job-search result. JOAP is not a substitute for your own judgment or for professional advice where professional advice is needed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse JOAP or help anyone else misuse it.

• Do not violate laws, regulations, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of others.
• Do not upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
• Do not use JOAP to create deceptive, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful content.
• Do not submit information you do not have the right to use.
• Do not attempt to access another user's account, data, or private information.

Third-party services

JOAP may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing, email delivery, analytics, security, and other infrastructure. Your use of JOAP may involve those providers as needed to operate the service.

Service changes and availability

JOAP is an evolving product. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to JOAP if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for JOAP or others, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using JOAP at any time.

Disclaimers

JOAP is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JOAP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or employment-related outcomes arising from use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use of JOAP after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
